Are you smarter than a 5th grader--UK edition

Here's a sample of the type of test that used to be administered in UK schools to 11 year olds whose academic future depended on how well they scored.

I'm pleased to admit that I would have passed and gone on to grammar school, but very humbled that I didn't get a perfect score, considering that I'm 39 and well-educated.

Go ahead. Take it. I dare you. I double dog dare you to post your score in the comments section!

I scored 14 out of 15. I got the last one wrong. In the final two numerical sections, I took at least three guesses and I think that I got two right and one wrong. My score would be much lower had I not guesses.

Well, I made it... but by the skin of my teeth. 11 out of 15, Ran out of time. :-) I'm not good with tests... :-)

I also got 14 out of 15 and missed the last one. I have to say, I found the last two sections extremely difficult, but the other parts were kind of fun.

My score was less than perfect! I've not done anything like this for donkeys years and hence rusty, although i did have a good idea about the methods to get the answer - yah yah yah, any excuse for a not so good score!

C'est la vie! At least I passed the 11 plus first time round and trundled off to the grammar!
